LOIC CONSOLIDE SA DEUXIEME PLACE AU CHAMPIONNAT EN ATTENDANT MIEUX!
C’est un peu plus au Sud, au Portugal plus précisément que se trouvait Loic Larrieu pour une nouvelle manche du championnat d’Europe. Auteur du meilleur temps aux essais, Loic prendra en course la seconde place des deux manches disputées sur un circuit au sol dur, parsemé de trous cassants et de pierres. Le départ de la première manche sera donné en deux temps, une très grosse chute collective se produisant au premier départ. Pointé en seconde position derrière Valentin Teillet à chaque départ, Loic ne pourra attaquer son compatriote qui va s’imposer dans les deux manches. Au championnat Loic compte désormais trente points de retard sur le leader, mais en compte également trente huit d’avance sur Arnaud Tonus troisième.
Avant de se rendre en Angleterre dans deux semaines, le team fera étape à Villars sous Ecot (Doubs) pour une nouvelle étape des championnats Elite MX1 et MX2. Loic sera lui en Espagne pour le championnat d’Europe, ne retrouvant ses équipiers qu’à la mi-juin lors du GP de France à Saint Jean d’Angely.

Fastest rider in qualification, Loic finished both races in second position behind fellow countryman Teillet, who is leading the series. Loic is second, thirty points behind the leader before the Spanish round next week.
EMX2 – LOIC LARRIEU CONTINUES WITH POLE POSITIONS
CORTELHA, PORTUGAL, 17 May 2008 – French rider Loic Larrieu won Qualifying practice before fifth event for EMX2 European Championship in Cortelha. It is his second pole position in the season. He did the first time also on the last Qualifications in France.

Another pole for Loic Larrieu
The weather conditions in Corthela are changaeable these days. While here was raining the whole Friday, today it was warm. The race track was already very dry and dusty. The ground is hard but riders did not have many problems.
Qualifying results were narrow. Larrieu's advantage in front of Valentin Teillet is small and tomorrow it will be exciting battle for victory, again. In Championship Classification Teillet has 24 points of advantage before Larrieu. In one event it will be hard to compensate, because Teillet is in good shape and he is very reliable. |

LOIC LARRIEU: I had a luck in the first race that I did not crash together with other riders. I was very close to the accident. This race track was hard and had many sharpen stones. I did two good results and finished second. I can just be happy for it.
